Bootheel Area Animal Rescue

What we are is a small rescue group who want to offer more than what others can. When you adopt an animal from us we want you to have peace of mind that you are adopting a healthy animal!

We work closely with our veterinarian. All animals are checked for heart worms and will only be adopted out if heart worm negative, we have fecal tests done, they are given 5-way vaccinations. We do recommend micro chipping, but cannot include that in our services at this time.

Our adoption price is $100.00 on every dog, from Chihuahua size on up to Mastiff size. Breed has no difference in our adoption price either, we feel that the most mixed breed dog has just as many endearing qualities as any pedigreed dog.

We have just recently aquired our Not for Profit Incorporated status and are very excited about this, next is getting our 501c3 set up.

We also want to thank a friend to all of our rescues, Melanie Coy, she is  a wonderful bully breed advocate and she offers training for the Canine Good Citizenship through the AKC.  She is the person I reccomend for anyone who is in need of training and she can be reached by email at mscoy@netzero.com

Others who we want to give thanks to is our vet, Animal Health Center (573-471-4500), Petco at Cape Girardeau, and Feeders Supply (573-471-2280)

Donations towards our rescue can be made at Animal Health Center towards vet costs and at Feeders Supply in the form of food (always in need of) and other pet items such as toys and other items.    Also you want to make sure and visit us the first Saturday of each month for Fostering Hope from 1-4.  We are working on finding foster homes, both short and long term so come visit us and find out what you can do to help out!!
